This popular self-guided tour of historic barns brings awareness to the public of Frederick County's strong agricultural heritage and how barns were constructed to last. Barn docents will greet ticket holders at each barn location to share information and answer questions. During this time, artists and crafters will be creating at the barns.
From 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m., tour goers are invited to the host barn, which will be identified in the ticket booklet, for a judged art show and art sale. Strolling troubadour musician Scott Barrett will entertain our visitors. From 12:00 noon -5:30 p.m., food trucks at the host barn will serve delicious BBQ, cold drinks, and shaved ice treats.

Tickets are $20. Children under 12 are free. Each adult ticket buyer must wear a provided wristband to be admitted to the properties.
DAY OF TICKETS: Available at the Linganore United Methodist Church parking lot,
8921 Clemsonville Rd, Union Bridge, from 9:30 a.m.-noon.

Rain or shine! Join us for our most popular event, an important fundraiser for the operation of our organization and upkeep of Schifferstadt. Come enjoy great food and drink, lively German music, historic demonstrators, and hand-made products from many arts & crafts vendors. Tours of the museum are available - check back for reservation information. Donations to FCLF are appreciated!

Mark your calendars to join us at the Frederick County Landmark Foundation’s annual meeting and our 50th anniversary celebration! The regular business will include a State of the Organization from President Jennie Russell, election of officers, and celebration of 50 years as an organization. We are reaching out to all of the passionate preservationists of FCLF’s 50 years, including board members, staff, docents, founders, children of founders, all current members, and as many previous members and volunteers as possible.
To help with the refreshments and festivities, a $10 donation is requested if you plan to attend.

Schifferstadt Museum's annual holiday event. Enjoy free arts and crafts, hearth cooking demonstrations, historical entertainment, and tours of the museum. Purchase German Glühwein from the Frederick Sister Cities Association and complete your holiday shopping in the museum gift shop. No admission but donations appreciated.
